Wesley G. Jennings, PhD, is Gillespie Distinguished Scholar, Chair, Professor, and Director of the Center for Evidence-Based Policing & Reform (CEBPR) in the Department of Criminal Justice & Legal Studies in the School of Applied Sciences and a Faculty Affiliate at the School of Law at the University of Mississippi. He has over 275 publications, his h-index is 62 (i-index of 168), and he has over 12,500 citations to his published work. He has been recognized as the #1 criminologist in the world in previous publications based on his peer-reviewed publication productivity. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the National Sheriffs’ Association, the American Society of Criminology, the American Society of Evidence-Based Policing, and a Lifetime Member of both the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences and the Southern Criminal Justice Association. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. Finally, he is a Past President of the Southern Criminal Justice Association.
