Amanda Cook
Amanda P. Cook is an Assistant Professor of Criminology in the Department of Arts and Sciences at Mississippi State University-Meridian. Amanda received her Ph.D. from Mississippi State University in Sociology in 2015. She has conducted prison research focusing on a wide range of topics such as deterrence, community and prison capital, punishment, and recidivism. Amanda is currently a co-PI on a Byrne Criminal Justice Innovation grant funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance.
